Herminio Matthew ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Viejas & Virgenes FC's zone, Angelo Ilazki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emiliano Lordi came out of the goal and Angelo Ilazki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Angelo Ilazki who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Emiliano Lordi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 37 played minutes, Viejas & Virgenes FC's Abelardo Pello shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Moises Elazar came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Viejas & Virgenes FC reached it. Herminio Matthew was extremely unlucky when he, in the 41st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Emiliano Lordi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herminio Matthew in the 46th minute of the match. Despite being the better team, Chorroarín failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
