If Arturo Tallia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 4th minute Eduardo Dubardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felipe Urki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arturo Tallia struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Felipe Urki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for T-Rex. After a rather tough play, Pucará FC's Ricardo Guillelmo got a free kick in the 7th minute. Felipe Urki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arturo Tallia, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Francisco Ranolfo made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Pastor Goi sent off a good shot on target. In the 26th minute, Sebastian Rafel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 30 minutes into the match, T-Rex's goalkeeper Francisco Ranolfo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pastor Goi. After 32 minutes, Jonathan Bihar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pucará FC and the T-Rex players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 33 played minutes Pucará FC got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Bihar. The T-Rex fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when T-Rex's Arturo Tallia looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After the first half T-Rex were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

54 minutes into the match, T-Rex's goal looked a bit too open when Pastor Goi came free, but Francisco Ranolfo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute, Eduardo Dubardo made a precise shot to the right of Felipe Urki. Pucará FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 69th minute, Felipe Silvanito got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Eduardo Dubardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arturo Tallia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of T-Rex booed when Pucará FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Guillelmo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matias Esquipula received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Francisco Ranolfo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched T-Rex eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
