Saturnino Eriz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 17th match minute, Rvia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saturnino Eriz to maneuver through the defense. When The Black Cat's Simon Colas, in the 18th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for The Black Cat. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Garoa in the 20th minute of play forced Rvia FC's goalkeeper Santiago Inge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Jesus Seber notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of The Black Cat's Luis Ramone. Luis Ramone was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 27th match minute, The Black Cat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximiliano Garoa to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Jesus Seber's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luis Ramone was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Jesus Seber recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Florentino Fagondo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luis Ramone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jesus Seber in the 36th minute of play. Santiago Inge made an important save on a dangerous shot by Simon Colas in the 38th minute. In the 42nd match minute, Rvia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saturnino Eriz to maneuver through the defense. If Florentino Fagondo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Rvia FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Santiago Inge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simon Colas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gustavo Txordon charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gustavo Txordon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Rvia FC booed when The Black Cat was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustavo Txordon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Florentino Fagondo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Luis Ramone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Florentino Fagondo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luis Ramone having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in The Black Cat's zone, Florentino Fagondo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luis Ramone came out of the goal and Florentino Fagondo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Santiago Inge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Garoa in the 83rd minute of play. Rvia FC's Santiago Inge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximiliano Garoa in the 92nd minute of play. The supporters of The Black Cat booed when Rvia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saturnino Eriz didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Garoa in the 96th minute of play forced Rvia FC's goalkeeper Santiago Inge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Rvia FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Rvia FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
