Aristides Odilon helped the player get up and apologised. After 15 played minutes Luisiana got a freekick which was hit by Aristides Odilon. Julio Hondo made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Amador Isauro sent off a good shot on target. In the 20th minute Alonzo Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gervasio Oihenarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Pericotes AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Etor came free, but Julio Hondo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pericotes AFC's Alonzo Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 26 minutes into the game, Jacinto Ourente was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Luisiana's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pericotes AFC the free kick. After a defensive mix-up in Luisiana's zone, Isaac Urki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gervasio Oihenarte came out of the goal and Isaac Urki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amador Isauro got free with Julio Hondo in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Julio Hondo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Etor, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 40th minute, Alonzo Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Julio Hondo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Etor, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 60th minute of the match Hilario Roland shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Hondo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Luisiana's Gervasio Oihenarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaac Urki in the 61st minute of play. If Eliseo Etor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gervasio Oihenarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaac Urki in the 68th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Pericotes AFC's Isaac Urki sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gervasio Oihenarte narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alonzo Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Gervasio Oihenarte made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Isaac Urki took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Gervasio Oihenarte to make any attempt to save it. Luisiana's Gervasio Oihenarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaac Urki in the 87th minute of play. If Eliseo Etor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 97 minutes into the match, Luisiana's goal looked a bit too open when Isaac Urki came free, but Gervasio Oihenarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Pericotes AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
