When Robustiano Jacob fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cañon del Atlas's protests and gave Robustiano Jacob a yellow card for diving instead. Robustiano Jacob hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute, Fausto Dolfo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Ubaldo Rosio managed to avoid a goal in the 99thth minute, when Cañon del Atlas's Delmar Aztore fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Delmar Aztore recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 103rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
