Erubiel Lawrence could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Nestor Benvido made a huge save. If Erubiel Lawrence had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 34 minutes into the match, Villa la Pava's Vinicio Maurino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nestor Benvido narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 39th minute, Vinicio Maurino reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nestor Benvido. The goal made the score 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Astor Belmiro to make the kick off. If Astor Belmiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 55 minutes, Astor Belmiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MAR-RA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Astor Belmiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vinicio Maurino in the 58th minute of play forced MAR-RA's goalkeeper Nestor Benvido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hilario Jaen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vinicio Maurino in the 69th minute of play forced MAR-RA's goalkeeper Nestor Benvido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vinicio Maurino struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Nestor Benvido didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Villa la Pava. Nestor Benvido didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Erubiel Lawrence went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Astor Belmiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Luisito Matia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
