The supporters of Claypole AFC booed when Lukfe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orlando Mateo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Claypole AFC's Florencio Bernaldo got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Florencio Bernaldo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Claypole AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Florencio Bernaldo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Claypole AFC's zone, Nicanor Terciero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antonio Enetz came out of the goal and Nicanor Terciero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tobias Fernado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baltasar Cordearo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Damian Bernebe to make the kick off. Claypole AFC's Antonio Enetz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Mateo in the 55th minute of play. Florencio Bernaldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
