The audience thought a goal was coming when Prospero Boniel got free with Evelio Charro in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 23 minutes into the match, Prospero Boniel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Evelio Charro. Waxton's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Prospero Boniel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Jonathan Dominic managed to get in a good position for a shot. Capla AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonathan Dominic was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evelio Charro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cleto Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th minute Cleto Ramos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonzalo Hustaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reynaldo Navarro's late challenge caught a Waxton's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Reynaldo Navarro helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Capla AFC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Reynaldo Navarro hit a great ball. Cleto Ramos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonzalo Hustaz having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, Capla AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Casimiro Rufio came free, but Gonzalo Hustaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Evelio Charro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prospero Boniel, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. The supporters of Capla AFC booed when Waxton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gregorio Reynardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Waxton's goal looked a bit too open when Prospero Boniel came free, but Evelio Charro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Capla AFC's Gonzalo Hustaz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Capla AFC from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Waxton defense, Prospero Boniel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Evelio Charro. The Waxton fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Evelio Charro should have stopped the shot. Waxton's Evelio Charro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Dominic in the 92nd minute of play. Capla AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
