In the 36th minute, Arnaldo Vachon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ambrosio Monte received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marcelino Lesardo came out and tried to block the shot, but Ambrosio Monte slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 43rd minute. In the 48th minute, Celedonio Bilintx ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Amancio Beila was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Celedonio Bilintx stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Arnaldo Vachon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Amancio Beila was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Atlético Agronomía's Dionisio Raulo got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 70th minute, Rejunte FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Celedonio Bilintx fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Rejunte FC's Elpidio Lawrence suffered a sore thigh after 73 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 73 minutes, Dionisio Raulo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atlético Agronomía and the Rejunte FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Haroldo Oalo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Rejunte FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arnaldo Vachon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Atlético Agronomía's German Gurutz got his second yellow card of the match in the 92nd minute. The referee ordered German Gurutz off the ground. In the 93rd match minute, Atlético Agronomía was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by German Gurutz to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Atlético Agronomía had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
