The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ambrosio Monte struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Evelio Charro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rejunte FC. In the 12th match minute, Rejunte FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elpidio Lawrence to maneuver through the defense. Rejunte FC's Amancio Beila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodosio Terciero in the 15th minute of play. Haroldo Oalo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Amancio Beila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodosio Terciero in the 21st minute of play. Haroldo Oalo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Evelio Charro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 30 minutes, Ambrosio Monte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rejunte FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ambrosio Monte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Amancio Beila made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cleto Ramos in the 33rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Elpidio Lawrence managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rejunte FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Elpidio Lawrence was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evelio Charro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Waxton's zone, Ambrosio Monte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evelio Charro came out of the goal and Ambrosio Monte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Erubiel Montes hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 54th minute, Primitivo Cordara sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Waxton's Evelio Charro didn't even have to move. Casimiro Rufio hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Evelio Charro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ambrosio Monte in the 57th minute of the match. Amancio Beila didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teodosio Terciero went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Rejunte FC's Amancio Beila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cleto Ramos in the 67th minute of play. Rejunte FC's Ambrosio Monte got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 90th minute of the match Rejunte FC got a corner. Waxton's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Primitivo Cordara ran over to the corner to take the kick. Rejunte FC's Primitivo Cordara was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Evelio Charro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Haroldo Oalo in the 93rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Evelio Charro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Gregorio Reynardo charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gregorio Reynardo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gregorio Reynardo hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Rejunte FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
