In the 23rd match minute, Club Atlético Tucuman was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anacleto Mancio to maneuver through the defense. Lukfe's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ciriaco Furman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Baldomero Lano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baltasar Cordearo having to interfere. If Baldomero Lano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 73rd minute, Baldomero Lano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Baltasar Cordearo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. The audience was convinced that Baldomero Lano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baltasar Cordearo was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. A collision led to Lukfe getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Celso Oriol hit a great ball. 83 minutes into the match, Lukfe's goal looked a bit too open when Baldomero Lano came free, but Baltasar Cordearo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Lukfe's zone, Anacleto Mancio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baltasar Cordearo came out of the goal and Anacleto Mancio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Ciriaco Furman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 97th minute Baldomero Lano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baltasar Cordearo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Club Atlético Tucuman fans cheered their team off the field, for while Lukfe had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
