The supporters of Villa Podestá booed when Frisoniano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaudencio Hondo didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Virgilio Arlo in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sebastian Goizeder saved Frisoniano from getting behind. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
