The audience thought a goal was coming when Baldomero Lano got free with Marcelino Lesardo in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Celedonio Bilintx fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Kismi having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by German Gurutz in the 19th minute of play forced Club Atlético Tucuman's goalkeeper Emanuel Kismi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcelino Lesardo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Baldomero Lano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atlético Tucuman's supporters rose to their feet, but Baldomero Lano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelino Lesardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciriaco Furman in the 57th minute of the match. Celedonio Bilintx was extremely unlucky when he, in the 63rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Ciriaco Furman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 70 minutes of play, Club Atlético Tucuman's Baldomero Lano made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcelino Lesardo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ciriaco Furman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Marcelino Lesardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baldomero Lano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcelino Lesardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciriaco Furman in the 94th minute of the match. In the 95th minute, German Gurutz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Club Atlético Tucuman had won after a very even match.
