With a little luck, Villa Podestá's Amadeo Lamberto got control of the ball when Fermin Baldovino tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 14th match minute, Villa Podestá was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ubaldo Pio to maneuver through the defense. Virgilio Arlo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Camilo Benvide tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Virgilio Arlo came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Villa Podestá fans jumped to their feet.
