Atlético Agronomía's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnaldo Vachon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Capla AFC's zone, Celedonio Bilintx stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gonzalo Hustaz came out of the goal and Celedonio Bilintx tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. German Gurutz hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Marcelino Lesardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Dominic, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Prospero Boniel struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Marcelino Lesardo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Capla AFC. Celedonio Bilintx fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonzalo Hustaz having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Celedonio Bilintx was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Capla AFC booed when Atlético Agronomía was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dionisio Raulo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Capla AFC's Eloy Frichoso tried to score from far away in the 58th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Marcelino Lesardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Dominic in the 89th minute of the match. When Jonathan Dominic came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Capla AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonathan Dominic couldn't finish the play. Gonzalo Hustaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celedonio Bilintx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 94 minutes into the match, Capla AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Celedonio Bilintx came free, but Gonzalo Hustaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Capla AFC had won after a very even match.
