Spectators: 7199 (Terracing: 5401, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Astor Veronica kicked off to start the match. Guampachata's Segundo Lesardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Astor Veronica in the 3rd minute of play. 5 minutes into the game, Ocampo's Rosendo Veremundo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Segundo Lesardo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After a rather tough play, Ocampo's Evaristo Patrido got a free kick in the 8th minute. Aquiles Diaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ocampo's Omar Urti proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Ocampo from getting a goal against them. Evelio Loco succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 16th playminute. A collision led to Ocampo getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Bernardino Timo hit a great ball. If Astor Veronica had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Astor Veronica struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Segundo Lesardo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ocampo. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aquiles Diaz was the one to do the kick off. Evelio Loco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omar Urti having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Guampachata's goal looked a bit too open when Astor Veronica came free, but Segundo Lesardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Astor Veronica in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Segundo Lesardo saved Guampachata from getting behind. Segundo Lesardo made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Rosendo Veremundo sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bernardino Timo during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Guampachata's Ernesto Iratzeder couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 76th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Ocampo. Aquiles Diaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Omar Urti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 93rd minute of the game. One of Guampachata:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ocampo:s goal.
