If Angelino Donostia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angelino Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eustaquio Domingues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Atarrabi in the 10th minute of play. Jacinto Dolfo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Eustaquio Domingues made a huge save. In the 13th minute of the match, Jacinto Dolfo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Eustaquio Domingues was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When Victor Pacho fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gorostiaga's protests and gave Victor Pacho a yellow card for diving instead. Victor Pacho kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Jacinto Dolfo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Eustaquio Domingues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 25 minutes into the game, Gorostiaga's Robustiano Lizardi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rene Frichoso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 30 minutes into the match, Huevonaso S.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Jeronimo Normando came free, but Rene Frichoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robustiano Lizardi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rene Frichoso having to interfere. Jeronimo Normando struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Rene Frichoso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gorostiaga. In the 35thth minute of the game Angelino Donostia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Huevonaso S.C.'s Rene Frichoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Robustiano Lizardi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Rene Frichoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Angelino Ramos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gorostiaga's supporters rose to their feet, but Angelino Ramos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rene Frichoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 41 minutes into the match, Huevonaso S.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Robustiano Lizardi came free, but Rene Frichoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Haroldo Cordero's late challenge caught a Huevonaso S.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Haroldo Cordero helped the player get up and apologised. In the 42nd match minute, Gorostiaga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haroldo Cordero to maneuver through the defense. Jeronimo Normando recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Jacinto Dolfo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gualterio Muno stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Angelino Donostia hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Rene Frichoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robustiano Lizardi in the 56th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Robustiano Lizardi in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rene Frichoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 62 minutes into the game, Angelino Donostia recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rene Frichoso. Angelino Donostia showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Robustiano Lizardi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rene Frichoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelino Ramos, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Rene Frichoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelino Donostia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Huevonaso S.C.'s Tadeo Mero got a free kick in the 78th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Jeronimo Normando could shoot a difficult shot in the 80th minute, which Rene Frichoso however easily saved by the left post. When Angelino Donostia came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Gorostiaga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angelino Donostia couldn't finish the play. After 86 played minutes Huevonaso S.C. got a freekick which was hit by Rogelio Banegas. If Jeronimo Normando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rene Frichoso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Robustiano Lizardi went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Huevonaso S.C.'s Fausto Theodore got a free kick in the 94th minute. Gorostiaga's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
