Spectators: 7197 (Terracing: 5399, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 143) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Victorio Frechoso got the match started through his kick off. Victorio Frechoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Jeronimo Rutenio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Julian Nofre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeronimo Rutenio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saverio Dei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Chuchucaruana's Julian Nofre in the 23rd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Joaquin Paz was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Tafí AFC through an amazing save. After 27 played minutes Tafí AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ciro Evangelista. After a defensive mix-up in Tafí AFC's zone, Arnaldo Cugat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Paz came out of the goal and Arnaldo Cugat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 31st minute, Arnaldo Cugat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jeronimo Rutenio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Saverio Dei's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. 45 minutes into the match, Chuchucaruana's goal looked a bit too open when Saverio Dei came free, but Jeronimo Rutenio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julian Nofre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Julian Nofre made the kick off in the second half. Arnaldo Cugat struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Joaquin Paz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chuchucaruana. Zacarias Luke's late challenge caught a Chuchucaruana's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zacarias Luke helped the player get up and apologised. Joaquin Paz had in the 60thth minute some difficulties stopping Hector Mendez's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Hector Mendez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joaquin Paz. Tafí AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hector Mendez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Arnaldo Cugat got in the 65th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Joaquin Paz handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. After having played for 68 minutes, Julian Nofre managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chuchucaruana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julian Nofre was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aquilino Guter hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Joaquin Paz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Nofre in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 74th minute Julian Nofre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Paz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hipolito Gaxan hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Chuchucaruana were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
