Spectators: 5100 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 100) ZafaR's Antonio Bonadona started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Antonio Bonadona came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the ZafaR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antonio Bonadona couldn't finish the play. In the 35th minute Antonio Bonadona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Paz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joaquin Paz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silverio Rio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Tafí AFC's zone, Silverio Rio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Paz came out of the goal and Silverio Rio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Leon Manuelo fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tafí AFC's protests and gave Leon Manuelo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 95th match minute, Tafí AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciro Evangelista to maneuver through the defense.
