Timote's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hornillos's goalkeeper Rene Satordi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hornillos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Timote the free kick. After 28 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Hornillos! When the match had been going on for 31 minutes, Timote's Baldomero Eliu got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Rene Satordi. In the 33rd minute Enrique Jorrin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliberto Gumaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Denis Ibar fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Timote's protests and gave Denis Ibar a yellow card for diving instead. Denis Ibar kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Enrique Jorrin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Hornillos's Damian Maxin pulled a muscle in his back after 56 minutes and couldn't finish the game. During the 56th minute of the match Denis Ibar completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Denis Ibar a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Timote's Denis Ibar got a free kick in the 57th minute. Claudio Guillelme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Feliberto Gumaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Luisito Arias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute.
