Spectators: 7142 (Terracing: 5358, Seating: 1642, VIP seats: 142) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Javier Natal started the match with the kick off. Agustin Dunixi came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Pozuelos's Gaston Sandaili. But to his dismay, Gaston Sandaili quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Agustin Dunixi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clodoveo Pierres, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Rosario Central's zone, Clodoveo Pierres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Agustin Dunixi came out of the goal and Clodoveo Pierres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 33 minutes into the game, Nemesio Benat was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rosario Central's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pozuelos the free kick. Nemesio Benat kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. When Clodoveo Pierres fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pozuelos's protests and gave Clodoveo Pierres a yellow card for diving instead. In the 35th minute, Clodoveo Pierres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rosario Central's goalkeeper Agustin Dunixi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Agustin Dunixi made a fantastic save in the 49th minute, when Gaston Sandaili sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Clodoveo Pierres made a kick off. Agustin Dunixi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaston Sandaili in the 61st minute of the match. Rosario Central's Agustin Dunixi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaston Sandaili in the 66th minute of play. If Gaston Sandaili had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abel Virila kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. When Pozuelos's Clodoveo Pierres in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rosario Central's goalie prevented a goal. The attack was good, but when Clodoveo Pierres in the 76th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. 79 minutes into the match, Clodoveo Pierres notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Rosario Central's Agustin Dunixi. Agustin Dunixi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Clodoveo Pierres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Agustin Dunixi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th minute Javier Natal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximiliano Guifre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silverio Telo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
