After a rather tough play, sportivo lipton's Saturnino Montes got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Geronimo Cugat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justo Esdras having to interfere. Cristian Flor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Justo Esdras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabio Guib's late challenge caught a Berraondo AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Justo Esdras was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Berraondo AFC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Enzo Fernado hit a great ball. If Cristian Flor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Geronimo Cugat's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Justo Esdras read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. After some careless play in the sportivo lipton defense, Severino Ulizes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Justo Esdras.
