In the 3rd minute Epifanio Chano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damian Acuña saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Geronimo Cugat's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manuel Xabel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Corrales AFC's Manuel Xabel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geronimo Cugat in the 19th minute of play. Berraondo AFC's Cristian Flor got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Manuel Xabel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Flor in the 22nd minute of the match. Manuel Xabel came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Berraondo AFC's Cristian Flor. But to his dismay, Cristian Flor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Cristian Flor scored 0-2 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Manuel Xabel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Manuel Xabel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geronimo Cugat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Berraondo AFC's Damian Acuña proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Berraondo AFC from getting a goal against them. 42 minutes into the game, Geronimo Cugat cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Manuel Xabel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Corrales AFC's zone, Severino Ulizes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Xabel came out of the goal and Severino Ulizes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Donato Aztore stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Berraondo AFC's Damian Acuña played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodosio Ur in the 55th minute of play. In the 57th minute, Geronimo Cugat made a precise shot to the right of Manuel Xabel. Corrales AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. In the 65th minute, Donato Aztore got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Geronimo Cugat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Xabel having to interfere. A hard shot 71 in the game by Cristian Flor from a close distance when the talented Manuel Xabel managed to make a qualified save. Corrales AFC's players were relieved. Manuel Xabel was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Geronimo Cugat showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 73 minute of play. If Donato Aztore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodosio Ur in the 80th minute of play forced Berraondo AFC's goalkeeper Damian Acuña to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Berraondo AFC's Cristian Flor sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Manuel Xabel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 86 minutes, Cristian Flor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Berraondo AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Flor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Geronimo Cugat kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Manuel Xabel. That made the score 0-6 in the 88 minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gavino Quirze during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Corrales AFC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Gavino Quirze hit a great ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Berraondo AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
