An unexpectedly hard shot by Elpidio Urbez in the 52nd minute of play forced Berraondo AFC's goalkeeper Damian Acuña to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joaquin Christobal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geronimo Cugat, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. 60 minutes into the game, Geronimo Cugat was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Berraondo AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Wanchope the free kick. With his leg Joaquin Christobal managed to avoid a goal in the 74thth minute, when Berraondo AFC's Cristian Flor fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 77thth minute of the game Geronimo Cugat who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo Wanchope's Joaquin Christobal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cristian Flor in the 81stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Joaquin Christobal, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 84th minute, Geronimo Cugat reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Joaquin Christobal. The goal made the score 0-2. Berraondo AFC's Damian Acuña played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Egun in the 89th minute of play. Joaquin Christobal acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 91st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Enzo Fernado. If Cristian Flor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 98th minute, Geronimo Cugat fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Joaquin Christobal, passed just outside the right post.
