If Elpidio Urbez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ismael Iturri fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lobezno FC's protests and gave Ismael Iturri a yellow card for diving instead. Eugenio Berart kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Joaquin Christobal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benito Rodas in the 44th minute of the match. After the first half Deportivo Wanchope were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Lobezno FC's Raimundo Gabon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elpidio Urbez in the 51st minute of play. In the 55th minute, Elpidio Urbez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Damian Egun scored 0-2 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Raimundo Gabon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Raimundo Gabon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elpidio Urbez in the 63rd minute of play. Benito Rodas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Joaquin Christobal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eugenio Berart received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Raimundo Gabon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elpidio Urbez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimundo Gabon having to interfere. Damian Egun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lobezno FC's goalkeeper Raimundo Gabon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 80 minutes, Benito Rodas made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Deportivo Wanchope's Joaquin Christobal tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Lobezno FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Reynaldo Gaufred hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Deportivo Wanchope's Matias Fernandez tried to score from far away in the 84th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 86 minutes into the game, Elpidio Urbez recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Raimundo Gabon. Elpidio Urbez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. Eugenio Berart hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Deportivo Wanchope played a much better game than Lobezno FC and deserved their victory. The Lobezno FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
