The supporters of Verna booed when Nequen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodosio Nataniel didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Anier Sedeni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Americo Savier's late challenge caught a Verna's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Americo Savier helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Verna booed when Nequen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Americo Savier didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th minute, Iker Osoro made a precise shot to the right of Benjamin Ibar. Verna's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After 15 played minutes Verna got a freekick which was hit by Santo Naike. Gualterio Vellito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benjamin Ibar was out of position in the 25 minute of play, and Rigoberto Matteo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rigoberto Matteo really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Anier Sedeni's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gogo Lop read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Anier Sedeni took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gogo Lop. Gogo Lop dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 32nd minute, Gualterio Vellito made a precise shot to the right of Gogo Lop. Nequen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Gogo Lop showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gualterio Vellito in the 35th minute of the match. In the 41st match minute, Nequen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeremias Rubio to maneuver through the defense. Norberto Telmo, 42 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rigoberto Matteo was the one to do the kick off. When Gualterio Vellito came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Verna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gualterio Vellito couldn't finish the play. Gualterio Vellito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Gogo Lop tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gogo Lop was a little too slow when Gualterio Vellito got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 63rd minute. The score was now 3-3. The supporters of Verna booed when Nequen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ambrosio Raulo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benjamin Ibar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iker Osoro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Iker Osoro came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Nequen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iker Osoro couldn't finish the play. Iker Osoro struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Benjamin Ibar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nequen. Gualterio Vellito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gogo Lop having to interfere. Benjamin Ibar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iker Osoro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 88 played minutes Nequen got a freekick which was hit by Jeremias Rubio. Iker Osoro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Benjamin Ibar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 93 minutes into the game, Iker Osoro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-3. Benjamin Ibar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Nequen players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
