Leones Cristianos F.C.'s Fabio Basajaun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaspar Isauro in the 37th minute of play. Leonel Quirze made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santo Domiku in the 38th minute of play. Eloy Bastian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Fabio Basajaun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eloy Mundo to strike the kick off in the second half. If Gaspar Isauro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gaspar Isauro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Fabio Basajaun didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mariano Estebano went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Fabio Basajaun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Bartuelo in the 90th minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Zentena FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eloy Mundo came free, but Leonel Quirze reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
