The referee ignored Cienaguilla's protests and gave Prospero Timo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Cienaguilla getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Prospero Timo hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Chiquibum 90X100 Prof's Amado Lehen tried to score from far away in the 21st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Rosendo Confesor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hilario Mantzio having to interfere. Bruno Ranolfo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adan Santxol having to interfere. In the 28th minute Jesus Orlan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adan Santxol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chiquibum 90X100 Prof's goalkeeper Adan Santxol, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jesus Orlan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Adan Santxol was a little too slow when Norberto Artaldo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 1-2. Adan Santxol made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bruno Ranolfo in the 56th minute. 58 minutes into the match, Rosendo Confesor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hilario Mantzio. Cienaguilla's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rosendo Confesor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rosendo Confesor in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hilario Mantzio saved Cienaguilla from getting behind. Arnaldo Firmin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hilario Mantzio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. After 80 minutes, Aureliano Ruy mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chiquibum 90X100 Prof and the Cienaguilla players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 81st minute, Aureliano Ruy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Jesus Orlan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rosendo Confesor took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hilario Mantzio. Hilario Mantzio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. For all the effort they put into the match, the Cienaguilla players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Chiquibum 90X100 Prof.
