In the 14th match minute, Barrio Alberdi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvano Orlin to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th minute Alumbrera were awarded a corner. Norberto Errolan went to the cornerflag to take it. Barrio Alberdi FC's Romulo Argina proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Barrio Alberdi FC from getting a goal against them. Rosendo Mede received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Daniel Danel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Barrio Alberdi FC booed when Alumbrera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquin Rodas didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Silvano Orlin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristo Monico charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristo Monico the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cristo Monico kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Tobias Casomiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Danel having to interfere. When Tobias Casomiro came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Barrio Alberdi FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tobias Casomiro couldn't finish the play. If Tobias Casomiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Romulo Argina didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Alumbrera's Daniel Nabar shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-0 in the ordered_time% minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Nabar in the 56th minute of play forced Barrio Alberdi FC's goalkeeper Romulo Argina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Daniel Nabar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angel Geofredo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Romulo Argina tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Barrio Alberdi FC's Romulo Argina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angel Geofredo in the 67th minute of play. Romulo Argina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquin Rodas, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Angel Geofredo scored 4-0 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Romulo Argina, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Daniel Nabar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 78 minutes into the match, Barrio Alberdi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Nabar came free, but Romulo Argina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tobias Casomiro did an outstanding performance 85 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 5-1 to the right of an irritated Daniel Danel in the goal. A collision led to Barrio Alberdi FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Silvano Orlin hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Barrio Alberdi FC defense, Angel Geofredo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Romulo Argina. The Barrio Alberdi FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Romulo Argina should have stopped the shot. Romulo Argina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Nabar in the 95th minute of play. Daniel Nabar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romulo Argina having to interfere. The Alumbrera players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
