The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 14 minutes into the match, Cienaguilla's goal looked a bit too open when Paulino Elazar came free, but Hilario Mantzio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 15 minutes into the game, Christian Azubeli was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Salsedo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cienaguilla the free kick. In the 16th match minute, Salsedo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Azubeli to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Cienaguilla's Jorge Nisio tried to score from far away in the 17th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Hilario Mantzio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulino Elazar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the match, Salsedo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jesus Orlan came free, but Valentin Erramu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulino Elazar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hilario Mantzio having to interfere. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Valentin Erramu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Cienaguilla's Jesus Orlan in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Salsedo FC's goalie prevented a goal. If Jesus Orlan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Norberto Artaldo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Valentin Erramu made a huge save. A collision led to Salsedo FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Christian Azubeli hit a great ball. After 49 minutes Salsedo FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jorge Nisio who took care of the corner kick.

56 minutes into the match, Salsedo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jesus Orlan came free, but Valentin Erramu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Norberto Artaldo scored 1-0 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Valentin Erramu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Salsedo FC's Valentin Erramu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jesus Orlan in the 70th minute of play. When Isaac Niva came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Salsedo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isaac Niva couldn't finish the play. Cornelio Sengrat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Hilario Mantzio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Cornelio Sengrat managed to get in a good position for a shot. Salsedo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cornelio Sengrat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hilario Mantzio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jesus Orlan in the 89th minute of play forced Salsedo FC's goalkeeper Valentin Erramu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isaac Niva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hilario Mantzio having to interfere. Hilario Mantzio made a fantastic save in the 98th minute, when Cornelio Sengrat sent off a good shot on target. Salsedo FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
