Armando Rosalio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saverio Nesor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute Javier Oliverio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Rosalio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Jose Dodorol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 46 minutes, Abelardo Urdin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hucal and the Carril players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 46 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Hucal!

When Feliciano Gilesindo came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Carril fans jumped to their feet.
