Aldo Claris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hilario Mantzio having to interfere. Hilario Mantzio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aldo Claris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the match, Hucal's Abelardo Urdin broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. A collision led to Cienaguilla getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Bruno Ranolfo hit a great ball. 29 minutes into the match, Hucal's goal looked a bit too open when Norberto Artaldo came free, but Remigio Osoro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Norberto Artaldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Remigio Osoro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Bruno Ranolfo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Remigio Osoro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jesus Orlan in the 36th minute of the match. Remigio Osoro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Norberto Artaldo's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Saverio Nesor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Hilario Mantzio made a huge save. If Aldo Claris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 43 minutes of play, Cienaguilla's Jesus Orlan made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Remigio Osoro was left in no man's land by his defense there!

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jesus Orlan made a kick off. In the 58th minute, Aldo Claris got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 63rd minute Jesus Orlan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remigio Osoro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Cienaguilla's zone, Aldo Claris stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hilario Mantzio came out of the goal and Aldo Claris tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Norberto Artaldo kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 78th minute Aldo Claris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hilario Mantzio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aldo Claris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hilario Mantzio having to interfere. Jesus Orlan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Remigio Osoro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Remigio Osoro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jesus Orlan, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Florencio Mantzio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Remigio Osoro having to make a save. 94 minutes into the game, Santiago Marz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cienaguilla's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hucal the free kick. A collision led to Cienaguilla getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Santiago Marz hit a great ball. Hucal's Aldo Claris got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Cienaguilla had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
