In the 13th minute Gaspar Isauro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Danel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonel Quirze took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angel Geofredo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Danel had great luck who in the 20thth minute grab hold of the ball when Gaspar Isauro from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Mariano Estebano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Daniel Danel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Estebano in the 35th minute of play. Ariel Bartoleme kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. After having played for 44 minutes, Eloy Bastian managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zentena FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eloy Bastian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 46th minute, Alumbrera's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Mariano Estebano fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gaspar Isauro to strike the kick off in the second half. Mariano Estebano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alumbrera's Daniel Danel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Estebano in the 56th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Gaspar Isauro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zentena FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gaspar Isauro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Danel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Estebano in the 61st minute of play forced Alumbrera's goalkeeper Daniel Danel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Zentena FC booed when Alumbrera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquin Rodas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mariano Estebano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Daniel Danel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gaspar Isauro's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. After 85 played minutes Alumbrera got a freekick which was hit by Christian Tebaldo. Mariano Estebano scored 1-0 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Daniel Danel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Leonel Quirze showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angel Geofredo, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
