Remigio Osoro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eloy Mundo, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. After some careless play in the Hucal defense, Carlos Inguma kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Remigio Osoro. The Hucal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Remigio Osoro should have stopped the shot. Eloy Mundo struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Remigio Osoro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leones Cristianos F.C.. 30 minutes into the match, Hucal's Saverio Nesor sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabio Basajaun narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Aldo Claris struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Fabio Basajaun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hucal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Aldo Claris made the kick off in the second half. If Eloy Mundo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Carlos Inguma managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leones Cristianos F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Inguma was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Remigio Osoro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leones Cristianos F.C.'s Eloy Mundo got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Carlos Inguma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Aldo Claris came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Hucal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aldo Claris couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Leones Cristianos F.C.'s zone, Saverio Nesor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabio Basajaun came out of the goal and Saverio Nesor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aldo Claris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Carlos Inguma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saverio Nesor struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Fabio Basajaun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hucal. In the 92nd minute, Ariel Ereinotz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Leones Cristianos F.C. had won after a very even match.
