Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Carril's Ceferino Itzaina started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd match minute, Carril was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dionisio Thomas to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 4 in the game by Valentin Leheren from a close distance when the talented Armando Rosalio managed to make a qualified save. Carril's players were relieved. Valentin Leheren who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 5thth minute tested the skills of Armando Rosalio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Armando Rosalio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 22 minutes into the match, Carril's goal looked a bit too open when Valentin Leheren came free, but Armando Rosalio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rdth minute of the game Adan Paz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carril's Armando Rosalio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zentena FC were furious when Rogelio Maura was red carded, 35 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Rogelio Maura hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adan Paz was the one to do the kick off. The referee ignored Zentena FC's protests and gave Hernan Librado a yellow card for diving instead. After 69 played minutes Zentena FC got a freekick which was hit by Hernan Librado. The crowd rose to their feet as Jose Dodorol kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Leonel Quirze. That made the score 1-3 in the 70 minute of play. Zentena FC's Mariano Estebano got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adan Paz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adan Paz took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Armando Rosalio. Armando Rosalio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. If Victor Bartuelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Armando Rosalio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adan Paz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hernan Librado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Armando Rosalio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonel Quirze acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 94th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Urbano Napier. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Manuel Telesforo during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Carril's Manuel Telesforo got a free kick in the 95th minute. The Zentena FC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Carril to win.
