After 4 minutes, Aquilino Benitez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MAGIC FC and the Hucal players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 4th match minute, MAGIC FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aquilino Benitez to maneuver through the defense. 10 minutes into the game, MAGIC FC's Ulises Ipar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Remigio Osoro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Froilan Urdaspal in the 14th minute of play forced Hucal's goalkeeper Remigio Osoro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amado Gar took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 16th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Remigio Osoro. Hucal's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Hucal's Aldo Claris sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Raimundo Fidensio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, MAGIC FC's Raimundo Fidensio got control of the ball when Saverio Nesor tried to sneak it across the goal line. Raimundo Fidensio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aldo Claris in the 26th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Aldo Claris managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hucal's supporters rose to their feet, but Aldo Claris was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raimundo Fidensio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Saverio Nesor came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Hucal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Saverio Nesor couldn't finish the play. In the 40th minute, Froilan Urdaspal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Remigio Osoro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After 45 minutes of play, MAGIC FC's Froilan Urdaspal made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Remigio Osoro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ulises Ipar to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Froilan Urdaspal got free with Remigio Osoro in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Remigio Osoro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulises Ipar, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Hucal's Remigio Osoro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Hucal from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulises Ipar in the 60th minute of play forced Hucal's goalkeeper Remigio Osoro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 61 minutes into the game, Roque Cristos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hucal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MAGIC FC the free kick. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Froilan Urdaspal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remigio Osoro having to interfere. MAGIC FC's Ulises Ipar got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 95 minutes, Saverio Nesor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hucal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Saverio Nesor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched MAGIC FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
