In the 26th minute Aldo Claris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santo Barto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aldo Claris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santo Barto having to interfere. Santo Barto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aldo Claris in the 30th minute of play. Saverio Nesor blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Santo Barto having to make a save. Aldo Claris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santo Barto having to interfere. Benjamin Inautzi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Remigio Osoro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Higinio Vincente came free with the goalkeeper in the 35th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Remigio Osoro could save by the left post. Javier Oliverio's late challenge caught a ASO FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Javier Oliverio helped the player get up and apologised. In the 38th minute, Javier Oliverio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Hucal getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Javier Oliverio hit a great ball. Higinio Vincente scored 1-0 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Remigio Osoro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 48th minute of the match Alejandro Tiniebra shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Santo Barto showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Aldo Claris made the kick off in the second half. If Benjamin Inautzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Hucal's Santo Barto threw himself towards the right post 55 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Aldo Claris, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Saverio Nesor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Santo Barto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aldo Claris's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Bartolo Xacintu's late challenge caught a Hucal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bartolo Xacintu helped the player get up and apologised. If Higinio Vincente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th match minute, Hucal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Javier Oliverio to maneuver through the defense. ASO FC's Higinio Vincente got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Saverio Nesor got free with Santo Barto in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 94 minutes into the match, ASO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aldo Claris came free, but Santo Barto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
