Spectators: 6668 (Terracing: 5003, Seating: 1664, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Virgilio Ezkerra took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute Vladimiro Ospin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvestre Luzea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 6th play minutes Nestor Txeru shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Celestino Niva and just under the crossbar into goal. After a rather tough play, Avellaneda's Victor Cefero got a free kick in the 10th minute. Inocencio Jaume, 11 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 14 played minutes Avellaneda got a freekick which was hit by Christian Argenis. After 16 minutes, Nestor Txeru made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Avellaneda's Celestino Niva tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 20 minutes into the match, Avellaneda's goal looked a bit too open when Virgilio Ezkerra came free, but Celestino Niva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Araujo's Virgilio Ezkerra got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 24 minutes, Nestor Txeru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Araujo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nestor Txeru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joel Solustiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Silvestre Luzea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Avellaneda's Vladimiro Ospin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Silvestre Luzea. Silvestre Luzea yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Joel Solustiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Silvestre Luzea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35thth minute of the game Virgilio Ezkerra who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Avellaneda's Celestino Niva was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 36th minute, Zacarias Oalo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Avellaneda booed when Araujo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidoro Mikelats didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Avellaneda defense, Virgilio Ezkerra kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Celestino Niva. The Avellaneda fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Celestino Niva should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vladimiro Ospin was the one to do the kick off. Silvestre Luzea came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Avellaneda's Joel Solustiano. But to his dismay, Joel Solustiano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Avellaneda's Celestino Niva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nestor Txeru in the 55th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 59th minute by Virgilio Ezkerra got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a rather tough play, Araujo's Isidoro Mikelats got a free kick in the 60th minute. If Nestor Txeru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Virgilio Ezkerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st match minute, Avellaneda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Solustiano to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 82 minutes, Joel Solustiano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Avellaneda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Solustiano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
