The supporters of Tusquitas booed when Paraíso AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agustin Nikola didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ivan Umea's late challenge caught a Tusquitas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ivan Umea helped the player get up and apologised. Fermin Bingen walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Jonas Iaki struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Ildefonso Argenis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paraíso AFC. In the 31st minute, Pascual Hanni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bartolo Nikola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ildefonso Argenis having to interfere. Bartolo Nikola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tusquitas's Ildefonso Argenis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartolo Nikola in the 41st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartolo Nikola in the 43rd minute of play forced Tusquitas's goalkeeper Ildefonso Argenis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th minute Igor Florinio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aldo Ascencio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Igor Florinio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
