Teodosio Juvenal hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Teodoro Primo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Solustiano in the 10th minute of play. Tadeo Ramond sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. GENERAL CHALA's Tadeo Ramond got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Avellaneda booed when GENERAL CHALA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tadeo Baldovino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Celestino Niva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Jeraldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. When Avellaneda's Vladimiro Ospin in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The wind increased when Christian Jeraldo made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Tadeo Ramond notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Avellaneda's Celestino Niva. Celestino Niva was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Victor Cefero during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of GENERAL CHALA booed when Avellaneda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Cefero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tadeo Ramond fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celestino Niva having to interfere. When Vladimiro Ospin came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Avellaneda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vladimiro Ospin couldn't finish the play. 73 minutes into the match, Vladimiro Ospin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Teodoro Primo, 2-2. After having played for 78 minutes, Christian Jeraldo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GENERAL CHALA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christian Jeraldo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Christian Jeraldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Avellaneda's Celestino Niva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Jeraldo in the 82nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimiro Ospin in the 85th minute of play forced GENERAL CHALA's goalkeeper Teodoro Primo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 89th play minutes Christian Jeraldo shot 3-2, a short shot which went by Celestino Niva and just under the crossbar into goal. When Joel Solustiano came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Avellaneda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Solustiano couldn't finish the play. In the 97th minute, Vladimiro Ospin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. GENERAL CHALA's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
