Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Achupallas AFC's Mario Sustrai started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mario Sustrai struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Sixto Romero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Achupallas AFC. Achupallas AFC's Narciso Ortzi got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Sportivo Talarense's Agustin Baudelio got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sportivo Talarense's goalkeeper Sixto Romero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 13 minutes, Mario Sustrai managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Achupallas AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mario Sustrai was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 20th minute, Genaro Chucho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 24th play minutes Mario Sustrai shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Sixto Romero and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 31st minute Amado Orlan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ambrosio Porfirio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Achupallas AFC's Mario Sustrai sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sixto Romero narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Narciso Ortzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sixto Romero having to interfere. Mario Sustrai might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sixto Romero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mario Sustrai ran back to his position shaking his head. Narciso Ortzi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Narciso Ortzi got free with Sixto Romero in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 43rd minute, Mario Sustrai got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Achupallas AFC's Mario Sustrai in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sportivo Talarense's goalie prevented a goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Amado Orlan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ambrosio Porfirio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Constantino Efren in the 60th minute of play. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Sportivo Talarense's goalkeeper Sixto Romero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Narciso Ortzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fidel Neto got his second yellow card in the match during the 63rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 63 played minutes Sportivo Talarense got a freekick which was hit by Fidel Neto. Mario Sustrai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mario Sustrai struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Sixto Romero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Achupallas AFC. Narciso Ortzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ambrosio Porfirio made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Cesar Danel sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Sportivo Talarense's zone, Narciso Ortzi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sixto Romero came out of the goal and Narciso Ortzi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Narciso Ortzi took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sixto Romero. Sixto Romero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. When Mario Sustrai came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Achupallas AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mario Sustrai couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Mario Sustrai's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sixto Romero was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Sixto Romero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Sustrai in the 91st minute of play. 92 minutes into the game, Constantino Efren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sportivo Talarense's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Achupallas AFC the free kick. In the 93rd match minute, Sportivo Talarense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Constantino Efren to maneuver through the defense.
