Jonathan Udalaitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolfo Blai having to interfere. When Octavio Aznaro came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Estudiantes de Hernando fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Octavio Aznaro couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

A very good chance. 61 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de Hernando's goalkeeper Elvio Abascal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicasio Frisco. Pedro Oskarbi charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. But to his dismay, Jonathan Udalaitz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After 73 played minutes Atletico Rosario got a freekick which was hit by Nunez Hustaz. Pedro Oskarbi got his second yellow card in the match during the 88th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Pedro Oskarbi hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. A collision led to Atletico Rosario getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Gustavo Gaizko hit a great ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Atletico Rosario walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
