Spectators: 7310 (Terracing: 5484, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 145) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Narciso Argina started the match with the kick off. A collision led to A. D. Berazategui getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Federico Ourente hit a great ball. Alejandro Martxot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicasio Frisco in the 10th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Narciso Argina in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adolfo Blai saved Atletico Rosario from getting behind. A. D. Berazategui's Narciso Argina got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 22 played minutes, Atletico Rosario's Teodoro Gaufred shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alejandro Martxot came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Atletico Rosario reached it. A. D. Berazategui's Narciso Argina was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 24th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Haroldo Servando in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adolfo Blai prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Atletico Rosario's Adolfo Blai proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Atletico Rosario from getting a goal against them. Alejandro Martxot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pastor Ortle in the 39th minute of the match. If Haroldo Servando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when Mauro Frantzes made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Atletico Rosario booed when A. D. Berazategui was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severo Oton didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Mauro Frantzes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Haroldo Servando blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adolfo Blai having to make a save. In the 65thth minute of the game Narciso Argina who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atletico Rosario's Adolfo Blai was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Haroldo Servando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolfo Blai having to interfere. With a little luck, A. D. Berazategui's Alejandro Martxot got control of the ball when Nicasio Frisco tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Mauro Frantzes took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Alejandro Martxot to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, Atletico Rosario's Gustavo Gaizko got a free kick in the 76th minute. Santo Urbasa hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, A. D. Berazategui's Albano Tab got a free kick in the 84th minute. In the 91st minute Haroldo Servando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adolfo Blai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The A. D. Berazategui fans' excitement grew in the 94th match minute when A. D. Berazategui's Narciso Argina looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. A. D. Berazategui had played much better football throughout.
