The audience was convinced that Elvio Stephen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Robustiano Gustau was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. If Romulo Bazkoare had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Superlogico's zone, Romulo Bazkoare stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antonio Oton came out of the goal and Romulo Bazkoare tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Los Aguilas FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Augusto Gora hit a great ball. Robustiano Gustau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elvio Stephen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Simon Acevedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lucio Abaurre's late challenge caught a Los Aguilas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lucio Abaurre helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Superlogico getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Lucio Abaurre hit a great ball. 33 minutes into the game, Saverio Perico was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Aguilas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Superlogico the free kick. In the 33rd minute, Saverio Perico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Romulo Bazkoares short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Antonio Oton to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Superlogico's Elvio Stephen got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 47th minute Saverio Perico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio Oton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rogelio Toribio was the one to do the kick off. Nereo Teyo kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Elvio Stephen was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 55th minute. Superlogico's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When Elvio Stephen came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Superlogico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elvio Stephen couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Los Aguilas FC's Saverio Perico got a free kick in the 59th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Superlogico's goal looked a bit too open when Saverio Perico came free, but Antonio Oton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rogelio Toribio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Robustiano Gustau read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Robustiano Gustau stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rogelio Toribio's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. In the 67th minute, Saverio Perico got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 68 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Superlogico! Saverio Perico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Antonio Oton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 75 minutes, Romulo Bazkoare managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Aguilas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Romulo Bazkoare was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Antonio Oton stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Romulo Bazkoare's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Romulo Bazkoare fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonio Oton having to interfere. Los Aguilas FC's Robustiano Gustau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogelio Toribio in the 81st minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Simon Acevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85th minute, Rogelio Toribio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Los Aguilas FC's Nereo Teyo got a free kick in the 87th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogelio Toribio in the 88th minute of play forced Los Aguilas FC's goalkeeper Robustiano Gustau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Los Aguilas FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 93rd minute, when Rogelio Toribio scored to the left of an out of position Robustiano Gustau, making the score, 0-1.
