Celedonio Cordarrell was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Saverio Perico showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 16 minute of play. Robustiano Gustau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Constantino Rio, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Constantino Rio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robustiano Gustau having to interfere. A collision led to Los Aguilas FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Simon Acevedo hit a great ball. When Constantino Rio came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Los gordos de nix fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Constantino Rio couldn't finish the play. 35 minutes into the match, Los Aguilas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dario Matthew came free, but Robustiano Gustau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes into the game, Constantino Rio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Robustiano Gustau was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Romulo Bazkoare received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Celedonio Cordarrell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Celedonio Cordarrell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romulo Bazkoare, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Los Aguilas FC booed when Los gordos de nix was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Honorio Vidal didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th minute of the game, Saverio Perico landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Robustiano Gustau was out of position in the 65 minute of play, and Constantino Rio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Constantino Rio really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. In the 68th match minute, Los gordos de nix was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eriberto James to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Los Aguilas FC's Simon Acevedo got a free kick in the 71st minute. Dario Matthew's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Robustiano Gustau read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Romulo Bazkoare sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romulo Bazkoare in the 95th minute of play forced Los gordos de nix's goalkeeper Celedonio Cordarrell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Los gordos de nix supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Los gordos de nix would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
