Spectators: 7087 (Terracing: 5416, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 10) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Amado Arnalt kicked off to start the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcelino Escobar got free with Eloy Sengrat in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amado Arnalt in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Humberto Panpili prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 6th match minute, Marfady FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelino Escobar to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aureliano Ladio in the 8th minute of play forced Lyon FC's goalkeeper Eloy Sengrat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 8 minutes of play, Marfady FC's Aureliano Ladio made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eloy Sengrat was left in no man's land by his defense there! Humberto Panpili showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saverio Buinton in the 12th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the game, Amado Arnalt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lyon FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Marfady FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Lyon FC's Amado Arnalt got a free kick in the 14th minute. When Marcelino Escobar fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Marfady FC's protests and gave Marcelino Escobar a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvestre Guerrero in the 16th minute of play forced Marfady FC's goalkeeper Humberto Panpili to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Marfady FC's goal looked a bit too open when Amado Arnalt came free, but Humberto Panpili reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amado Arnalt scored 1-1 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Humberto Panpili, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Lyon FC's Eloy Sengrat got control of the ball when Marcelino Escobar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marfady FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eleuterio Jakue was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Marcelino Escobar kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Silvestre Guerrero in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Humberto Panpili saved Marfady FC from getting behind. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aureliano Ladio to make the kick off. Amado Arnalt's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 52ndth minute, Humberto Panpili skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of Marfady FC booed when Lyon FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amado Arnalt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Silvestre Guerrero blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Humberto Panpili having to make a save. Marfady FC's Humberto Panpili played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvestre Guerrero in the 60th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Amado Arnalt reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Humberto Panpili. The goal made the score 1-4. Silvestre Guerrero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Humberto Panpili tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amado Arnalt had several of the Marfady FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 79 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-5 score and a disappointed Humberto Panpili as he didn't even see the shot coming. Amado Arnalt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humberto Panpili having to interfere. Humberto Panpili made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvestre Guerrero in the 88th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Amado Arnalt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Marfady FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Bernardo Xabier hit a great ball. Lyon FC's Pedro Ponciano couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Marfady FC. After a rather tough play, Lyon FC's Amado Arnalt got a free kick in the 95th minute. When the match was over Lyon FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Marfady FC throughout the match.
