Timoteo Muc came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by 5 de Octubre de 2008's Gaspar Tavio. But to his dismay, Gaspar Tavio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. In the 29th match minute, Montoneros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vicente Barea to maneuver through the defense. Gaspar Tavio struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Montoneros's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erasmo Ciceron was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gaspar Tavio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Timoteo Muc having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. 5 de Octubre de 2008 fully deserved thier win.
