In the 8th minute, 5 de Octubre de 2008's Gerardo Uhin seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Gerardo Uhin the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of 5 de Octubre de 2008 protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Gerardo Uhin had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The supporters of Ulapes booed when 5 de Octubre de 2008 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerardo Uhin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute, Tomás Blanca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 5 de Octubre de 2008's Benito Berenguer got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 30 minutes, Elar Quero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ulapes and the 5 de Octubre de 2008 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ulapes's Elar Quero got a free kick in the 30th minute. Sergio Boniel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Macho Man in the 34th minute. After some careless play in the 5 de Octubre de 2008 defense, Tomás Blanca kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sergio Boniel. The 5 de Octubre de 2008 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sergio Boniel should have stopped the shot. In the 46th minute, Ulapes's Macho Man ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sergio Boniel. Sergio Boniel yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.
The wind increased when Flor Silvestre made the kick off in the second half. Macho Man struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. After a defensive mix-up in 5 de Octubre de 2008's zone, Elar Quero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sergio Boniel came out of the goal and Elar Quero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, 5 de Octubre de 2008's Jonas Santo got a free kick in the 58th minute. If Flor Silvestre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of 5 de Octubre de 2008 booed when Ulapes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomás Blanca didn't get a good kick on the ball. 63 minutes into the game, Macho Man cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Sergio Boniel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 71st minute, Macho Man left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ulapes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Ulapes's defense didn't have a chance, in the 74th minute, when Benito Berenguer scored to the left of an out of position Cai Feng Zheng, making the score, 5-1. If Tomás Blanca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sergio Boniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flor Silvestre in the 86th minute of the match. Flor Silvestre scored 6-1 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sergio Boniel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind 5 de Octubre de 2008's goalkeeper Sergio Boniel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sergio Boniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Macho Man in the 94th minute of the match. In the 95th minute, Macho Man made a precise shot to the right of Sergio Boniel. 5 de Octubre de 2008's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the 5 de Octubre de 2008 players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ulapes.
