Raul Senen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aureliano Leheren went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Montoneros's zone, Silvano Garci stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Timoteo Muc came out of the goal and Silvano Garci tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 16 played minutes Montoneros got a freekick which was hit by Lucio Endira. After a rather tough play, Las Pastillas del Abuelo's Artemio Frichoso got a free kick in the 19th minute. Montoneros's Timoteo Muc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvano Garci in the 21st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Vicente Barea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Montoneros's supporters rose to their feet, but Vicente Barea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raul Senen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vicente Barea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raul Senen having to interfere. After having played for 39 minutes, Aureliano Leheren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Montoneros's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aureliano Leheren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aureliano Leheren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Raul Senen made a huge save. 43 minutes into the match, Las Pastillas del Abuelo's Silvano Garci sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Timoteo Muc narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 44 played minutes Montoneros got a freekick which was hit by Lucio Endira. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Silvano Garci stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Aureliano Leheren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Raul Senen. Las Pastillas del Abuelo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aureliano Leheren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Silvano Garci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Timoteo Muc having to interfere. A collision led to Montoneros getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Lucio Endira hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Saul Carlomagno got free with Timoteo Muc in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 71 minutes, Ramon Pueblo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Montoneros and the Las Pastillas del Abuelo players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Las Pastillas del Abuelo booed when Montoneros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramon Pueblo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Las Pastillas del Abuelo's Ernesto Aragones suffered a concussion in the 73rd minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. After 77 minutes, Aureliano Leheren made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Las Pastillas del Abuelo's Raul Senen tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Vicente Barea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Montoneros's supporters rose to their feet, but Vicente Barea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raul Senen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 93rd minute, Vicente Barea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Montoneros's Aureliano Leheren got a free kick in the 95th minute. In the 96th match minute, Montoneros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Uxio to maneuver through the defense. For all the effort they put into the match, the Las Pastillas del Abuelo players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Montoneros.
