Marea Roja's Julio Theobald played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justino Sanson in the 40th minute of play. If Ismael Lesardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Esteve Quintana made the kick off in the second half. Froilan Costante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erubiel Dorio in the 54th minute of the match. Julio Theobald took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esteve Quintana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th minute of the match Ciro Eufemio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Froilan Costante skillfully saved the ball. Remigio Otsoko's late challenge caught a Marea Roja's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Remigio Otsoko helped the player get up and apologised. In the 88th match minute, Napenay FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Constantino Furman to maneuver through the defense. 90 minutes into the match, Napenay FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ismael Lesardo came free, but Froilan Costante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marea Roja's Julio Theobald proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Marea Roja from getting a goal against them.
